After eliminating 13 terrorists on Monday, today 3 more terrorists backed by Pakistan , were gunned down by Indian Army’s RR (Rashtriya rifle) and CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force), in Kangan Murran village of Pulwama. This is a massive success for the Indian defence forces.
One the of the terrorist who has been identified by the Police as Abdul Rehman, a relative of Masood Azhar, was an IED expert. Masood Azhar is the head of JeM, which was involved in myriads of attacks in India– Indian parliament attack in 2001 and Mumbai attack in 2008 being among them.
Abdul Rehman was involved in the failed attempt to attack CRPF with 60 KGs of explosives in a car, last week. He was also part of the Pulwama attack last year which killed 40 CRPF soldiers. He was more famous by his sobriquet Fauji Bhai, and belonged to Jaish-E-Mohammed(JeM) terrorist organization. Abdul was from Multan city of Pakistan and had been active in the Kashmir valley since 2017.
According to new policy followed by Indian defence forces, the pictures and names are not released, but in this case the terrorist being a national of Pakistan, it was imperative to prove his identity.
The other 2 terrorists belonged to Jaish-e-Mohammed and Hizbul Mujahideen (HM), but have been claimed by The Resistance Front (TRF) as their own. TRF, is ostensibly a front for Pakistan backed terrorists groups like JeM, HM and LeT (Lashkar-e-Toiba).
On Monday in a similar operation 3 terrorists were killed in Rajouri district while 10 terrorists were killed in Mendhar along the line of control in the Jammu division.
