Ali Asghar Hejazi, Deputy Chief-of-Staff to Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, is negotiating with Russian officials to secure a safe exit for himself and his family from Iran should conditions in Tehran worsen. As per a report by Iran International, Russian authorities have assured Hejazi of a secure evacuation corridor.
Other high-ranking Iranian officials are reportedly making similar arrangements, seeking guarantees from foreign governments or devising their own exit strategies amid fears of a major escalation with Israel.
In a video statement on Saturday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that senior Iranian leaders are “packing their bags,” signaling heightened tensions and potential instability in the region.
