Accidental Encounter of Yahya Sinwar?

As rumours float about Yayhya Sinwar’s killing in an Israeli operation, some pro-Hamas groups have come forward and claimed it was an accidental encounter.

Pro Hamas Telegram channels claim:

“The operation that targeted Sinwar in Rafah was random and not based on prior intelligence. A military force spotted three members of Al-Qassam inside the building, engaged in clashes with them, and managed to eliminate them.

The clashes in Rafah lasted for almost two hours. There were only three of them, and the enemy outnumbered and outgunned them. Sinwar was killed by a mortar.”

Sinwar’s body was found above ground, wearing a combat vest and with an AK by his side, together with two of his bodyguards. This was probably not the first time he engaged in direct combat with the Jews”.

An official statement by Israel is still awaited, as many OSINT ids claim that a DNA test prove that SInwar, Hamas’ chief, is dead.
