India Names Canadian Border Agency Employee Who Works Closely with Pro Khalistan Terror Groups

India Intensifies Diplomatic Offensive Against Canada!

In a significant escalation of tensions, India has ramped up its diplomatic offensive, accusing Canada of harboring individuals involved in anti-India activities and supporting pro-Khalistan separatist movements. New Delhi has named several individuals, including a Canadian Border Service Agency (CBSA) employee, Sandeep Singh Sidhu, who is allegedly working closely with Pakistan’s intelligence agency, the ISI, and pro-Khalistan terror groups.

Key Allegations Against Sandeep Singh Sidhu

India has formally named Sidhu, who holds a senior position in the CBSA as a superintendent, as a key figure in a network that includes Pakistan-based terrorists and ISI officials. Sidhu is alleged to be actively collaborating with Lakhbir Singh Rode, a Pakistan-based pro-Khalistan terrorist leader, and Gurjot Kaur, a U.S.-based pro-Khalistan operative. Gurjot Kaur, notably, claims to be the widow of Harmeet Singh, a now-deceased Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF) leader.

Sidhu’s alleged involvement in the October 2020 targeted assassination of Comrade Balwinder Singh Sandhu in Punjab further deepens the accusations. Sandhu, a prominent anti-terrorism activist, was a vocal critic of Khalistani separatists and had been targeted multiple times in the past for his stance against militancy in Punjab.

Sandeep Singh Sidhu’s name exists in list of fugitives, that India wants deported from Canada.

Pro-Khalistan Ties in Canada

India has also submitted a list of individuals, believed to be involved in criminal activities and aligned with pro-Khalistan elements, to the Canadian government. These include:

  • Sandeep Singh Sidhu (British Columbia)
  • Arshdeep Gill (Surrey)
  • Goldy Brar (Canada)
  • Rinku Bihla (Surrey)
  • Raman Judge (Surrey)
  • Lakhbir Singh (Canada)
  • Gurpinder Singh (British Columbia)
  • Sukhdul Singh (Ontario)

New Delhi’s concern over the presence of these individuals in Canada reflects a broader geopolitical tension, particularly over the support for Khalistani activities in the diaspora. Canada has long been a hotspot for pro-Khalistan groups, which seek the creation of a separate Sikh state, a movement India views as a threat to its sovereignty and internal security.

In the backdrop of this intensifying diplomatic confrontation, all eyes will be on Ottawa to see how it responds to India’s accusations and whether this latest rift will lead to more severe consequences for bilateral relations between the two nations.

Whilst the names were not officially released by Indian Govt, the names have been circulated by New delhi based News channels.
