Highly-confidential information concerning Indian Navy warships and submarines leaked, NIA files chanrgesheet against the spy.

NIA Investigation has shown that Manmohan Surendra Panda was exchanging classified information about the Indian Navy with an unidentified person and a suspected Pakistani intelligence agent named Harsh (code name, not real name).

The official continued, “It has also come to light that Panda was receiving monetary compensation through crypto channels from other suspected Pakistani operatives, Meer Balaj Khan, Alven, and several unknown individuals.”

“Panda was found transmitting highly-confidential information concerning Indian Navy warships and submarines in exchange for these illicit funds,” — NIA officials confirm.

A supplementary charge sheet has been submitted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in connection with a criminal conspiracy involving the engagement in espionage activities by Manmohan Surendra Panda and other Pakistani intelligence operatives.

The Indian Penal Code (IPC), the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, and the Official Secrets Act have all been formally used as grounds for formal charges against the prime accused, Manmohan Surendra Panda, a resident of Mumbai.

On May 5 of this year, the NIA re-registered the case, which had first been filed at the Counter Intelligence Cell police station in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.
