An audio that appeared on social media posted by pro-JeM accounts threatens to target 3 cities in India and Ram Mandir/ Ram Temple.

JeM is a Pakistan-backed terror group Jaish e Mohammed which came into existence in early 2000s. Since its genesis the terror group has been involved in carrying out myriads of terror attacks in India. Parliament attack in 2001, Uri attack in 2016 and Pulwama attack in 2019 — were few of the big attacks by the group.

The voice in audio that was released, belongs to Masood Azhar. He can be heard mentioning that his group will unleash terror on India. He specifically mentioned 3 cities — Delhi, Mumbai and Amritsar.

During his speech, where Masood Azhar seems to be addressing his followers, he says ” we will bring out our men trapped in Indian jails”. On multiple occasions in the video he mentions “jail break”.
