Pakistani Lashkar Terrorist Who Used to Train Sri Lankan LTTE Is Active Again- Nasr Javed

Transcript of the video posted on 19 Jan’26

Somewhere in the early 2000s, Pakistan-backed Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist group’s chief, Hafiz Saeed, asked his special man to carry out training. This training was for Tamilians from Sri Lanka who belonged to the terrorist group LTTE. Yes, Pakistan was directly involved in training the suicide bombers of the LTTE.

This man, who was then given the charge to train the Sri Lankan Tamil suicide bombers, has been very active in the last few months and has been going around Pakistan carrying out recruitments. We should not be surprised that Pakistan is using a third country to execute terrorist attacks inside India. Pakistan has been doing this very successfully for many years now. One example is a Pakistani diplomat in Sri Lanka who was involved in training terrorists within India. He used to send them money and use them to spy on Indian defence forces.

This video is going to be about Lashkar-e-Taiba’s Nasr Javed, who used to train suicide bombers, and why he is active again in the last few months—and, of course, a little bit about Pakistan’s history in sowing the seeds of terrorism in Sri Lanka.

Hello everyone, welcome to ResonantNews. I’m Levina.

In the year 2012, Pakistani diplomat Amir Zubair Siddiqi, who was working for the ISI, had funded many terror elements within India. One such man, a Tamilian named Ansari, was travelling to Sri Lanka with some defence-related documents when he was stopped in Trichy by Indian agencies. They thwarted him and prevented him from passing on those defence-related documents to the Pakistani diplomat, Amir Zubair Siddiqi.

Because of the embarrassment, the Pakistani government called back Amir Zubair Siddiqi from Sri Lanka for a year and then shamelessly sent the same man back to Sri Lanka. I’m sure Sri Lanka must have been aware of this development, but they did not object. The Pakistani diplomat then went on to train Tamil militants, yet nobody objected. He was also planning to carry out two attacks on foreign consulates inside India, but thankfully, once again, Indian agencies were able to thwart those attacks. Siddiqi’s plans were watered down by Indian agencies—but that was 2012.

In 2025, once again, the Pakistan-Sri Lanka angle has come up, this time very indirectly through Hafiz Saeed’s nephew, Nasir Javed (also spelled Nasr Javed).

Nasir Javed joined the ranks of LeT in the early 2000s. He was no ordinary terrorist. He was supposed to convert raw terrorist recruits into suicide bombers. He was specifically in charge of the Daura training camp. The Daura training camp is nestled somewhere in PoK (Pakistan-occupied Kashmir). Between 2004 and 2015, Nasir Javed was commanding this training camp.

This training camp is called notorious because it wasn’t your average boot camp. This is where Daura-e-Aam (basic training) was carried out for terrorists, and also Daura-e-Khaas (elite tactics), including guerrilla warfare, weapon handling, and ideological brainwashing—all done by Nasir Javed, who happens to be Hafiz Saeed’s nephew.

What made the Daura camp stand out was its direct involvement in Lashkar-e-Taiba’s bloodiest operations, which included the 2008 Mumbai attacks (in which about 166 people were killed) and the 2006 Mumbai train attacks (which left over 200 dead). LeT turned out fidayeen (suicide attackers) ready for cross-border infiltration and high-casualty strike rates.

Even after global outrage post-Mumbai, Lashkar-e-Taiba only relocated this camp and its activities, with Nasir Javed still at the helm.

This man has now been active again, especially since Operation Sindoor. But Javed’s story doesn’t end with the Daura training camp.

Fast forward to 2025: LeT (Lashkar-e-Taiba) faced a major blow because of India’s Operation Sindoor in May 2025. The covert strike destroyed Lashkar-e-Taiba’s facilities in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and the Pakistan side of Punjab, forcing the group to scatter and rebuild deeper inside Pakistan. Javed, who was a survivor, was tasked with training and heading the new facility.

The new facility is called Markaz-e-Jihadi Aqsa (or Markaz Jihad-e-Aqsa). We had posted about it last year in November 2025. Markaz-e-Jihadi Aqsa is located in Lower Dir district; it is near the Afghan border. Construction of this mosque started somewhere in July 2025, immediately after Operation Sindoor.

Lashkar-e-Taiba had decided to push back some of its training camps deeper into Pakistan so that India doesn’t easily carry out attacks. Markaz-e-Jihadi Aqsa will now serve as a replacement for the lost hubs of Lashkar-e-Taiba. This will also include training Lashkar-e-Taiba’s fidayeen unit (the suicide bombers).

In the months since, Javed has ramped up his efforts to strengthen Lashkar-e-Taiba’s numbers. From late 2025, he was deeply involved in intensifying recruitments, especially from Sindh. In November, alongside Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Abdul Rauf, he conducted rallies in at least 50 places, and there were many secret meetings conducted within Pakistan, mobilizing the youth with promises of glory.

December brought similar activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and he was scouting for new blood. But the action heated up in early 2026 (this year). Nasir Javed went to key areas in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, especially Mirpur, Kotli, and Poonch. He addressed more than four open rallies, held more than 10 closed-door meetings, and interacted with local terrorists and OGWs in the area.

His goal was to recruit for the upcoming training camps and rebuild what Lashkar-e-Taiba had lost during operations. Now, intelligence agencies have flagged this as part of a broader push, with Lashkar-e-Taiba and its allies like Jaish-e-Mohammed collaborating more openly.

Nasir Javed, let me tell you, is a bridge between Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed. He is not just the nephew of Hafiz Saeed; he also maintains great relations with Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist chief Masood Azhar.

The latest twist came in mid-January 2026 (very recently), when Nasir Javed appeared at a high-profile joint rally held in Dawa village, which happened to be in Poonch, right near the Line of Control. Now, this wasn’t just Lashkar-e-Taiba; it also openly featured Jaish-e-Mohammed.

Nasir Javed reportedly issued threats and continued operations against India, emphasizing jihad as the only solution for Kashmir. Now, reports even mention that Javed’s visit to sensitive spots like Mangla Dam in Mirpur is sparking fears of reconnaissance for attacks on critical infrastructure.

These moves are not isolated. Javed has been banned by the UK for promoting terrorism, specifically for training Lashkar-e-Taiba suicide bombers. This happened immediately in 2009, right after the Mumbai attacks.

His activities highlight Lashkar-e-Taiba as a persistent threat, with Pakistan denying direct support for Lashkar-e-Taiba, but intelligence painting a different picture. The region remains a powder keg.

So what does this mean? Nasir Javed is an ideal example of how terror groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba, based inside Pakistan, adapt and endure. These groups are not just involved in spreading terrorism within India but also in countries within the Indian subcontinent—be it Nepal, Bangladesh, or Sri Lanka.

The international community must come together and crack its whip on the terrorist elements within Pakistan.
